2010 AkzoNobel Science Award in the Netherlands
The Dutch AkzoNobel Science Award has been announced by our partner, the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities. The Award was presented on October 7, 2010.
The laureate is:
Prof. Dr. Bert Meijer, Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Eindhoven University of Technology for his numerous contributions in polymer science, and in particular for his pioneering achievements in the design, synthesis and characterization of supra-molecular structures and their use in functional materials.
